Soapstone, also known as Kisii stone, is found in in the Tabaka Hills of Western Kenya and has long been used by the Kisii tribe of that area for many purposes. The colour of the stone varies slightly from ivory, white to pink and as every piece is hand crafted, each one will be unique.
