At Tamasheq you will discover a wide range of very unusual crafts that have come literally from all over the world. The list of products is long but includes:

• Handmade paper from Thailand and Nepal
• Furniture and soft furnishings from India
• Wood carvings from Indonesia
• Stone carvings from East Africa
• Silver jewellery from Nepal and India
• Traditional Tuareg jewellery from Niger
• Puzzle boxes from Vietnam
• Musical instruments from all over the world

From time to time we will be exhibiting local artists and also featuring art from particular locations. In the five years that we have been trading we have been importing direct from Bali and Java. We have our own agent who is already working in community development on Bali and it's neighbouring islands. This is a pattern that it is hoped will be repeated in many other locations. In the coming year we intend to increase the amount that we import from Bali. We also have links with Cambodia, Egypt and Ghana. We hope to begin trading in these locations too.

Tamasheq is not charity, neither is it the answer to world poverty but it can make a difference - a world of difference both to you the customer and the producer.
